NEC has unveiled a 13.3-inch ultrabook with impressive battery life. The new model weighs just 885 or 921 grams, depending on the battery capacity, and features a protective casing and an Intel Core Ultra series processor. The NEC VersaPro J UltraLite Type VY has a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and the option of a touchscreen. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V or Core Ultra 7 258V processor, combined with 16/32 GB of RAM and a storage capacity ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB. When choosing a battery with increased capacity, video playback time reaches 20 hours, and in operating mode using a browser — 16 hours. The thickness is 18.2 mm and the weight is 921 grams. If you use a standard battery, the thickness is 17.9 mm and the weight is 885 grams. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth, and has two USB Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, one HDMI, Ethernet, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5 mm audio port. For video calls and Windows Hello, there is a built-in Full HD webcam with a privacy shutter. A version with a built-in LTE modem is available as an option. In addition, the laptop is MIL-STD-810H certified. Prices start at $1,759, and an additional battery can be purchased for $28. |
