NEC Japan's latest release is the Lavie Nextreme?a 13.3-inch laptop in a carbon fiber chassis weighing just 994 grams and featuring a high-performance Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. The laptop features a 13.3-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. Performance is handled by the Core Ultra 7 258V, which supports AI tasks thanks to a built-in neural processor with a performance of 47 TOPS. The new model also comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The laptop features one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (PD, DP), two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one HDMI output, and an Ethernet port. It also features a Full HD webcam, a pair of 2-watt speakers, a microSD card slot, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity. A 74-watt-hour battery provides over 20 hours of battery life. The NEC Japan Lavie Nextreme is priced at $1,935 in the Japanese market. |
