Motorola is preparing to unveil the Edge 50 Neo smartphone. Ahead of its announcement, a major leak has appeared online, which contains key technical information about the device: its display, chip and camera resolution. The smartphone's rumored 6.36-inch OLED screen will get a resolution of 1200x2670 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 tempered glass. For the performance of Motorola Edge 50 Neo will be responsible for the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 platform in tandem with 8/12 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 256/512 GB of permanent memory. As part of the triple rear camera will be the main 50-megapixel sensor with OIS support, ultra-wide-angle at 13 MP with macro option and a 10 MP TV with 3x zoom. For selfies, the manufacturer will install a frontal with a resolution of 32 MP. Also mentioned among the specifications is a 4,310 mAh (68W) battery, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, IP68 water resistance, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, support for Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3 and GPS. An early leak revealed the Edge 50 Neo's Edge 50 body color options. These include Pantone Institute colors Grisaille (black), Latte (beige), Nautical Blue (blue) and Poinciana (red). The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in August. |
