Apple, known for its innovative approaches to technology, plans to release a MacBook with a flexible display by 2026.

According to a reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the company plans to produce more than 20 million devices with 100-inch flexible screens. Earlier, it was assumed that deliveries would begin in 2027, but the timing was adjusted.

Kuo says Apple can choose between 20-inch and 18.8-inch panels. When folded, the 20-inch MacBook will be comparable in size to the current 14-15-inch MacBook model, while the 18.8-inch device will be comparable in size to the 13-14-inch model.

According to Kuo, the flexible screen of the new Macbook will be equipped with LG Display technology, and the device will use Apple's own M5 chip as a processor. Mass production is scheduled to begin at the end of next year.

This is not the first rumor about Apple's development of flexible displays. Earlier, analyst Ross Young and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman mentioned Apple's plans to create a device that combines the features of the iPad and MacBook with a dual screen, but without a traditional keyboard and trackpad. There were also reports of possible cooperation with Samsung to develop similar technologies.
