Lenovo unveiled its new ThinkBook VertiFlex concept laptop at IFA 2025. At first glance, it looks like a regular 14-inch laptop, but when you gently push the display angle, it rotates 90 degrees and switches to portrait mode. This format is convenient for working with documents, programming, or watching vertical videos. Unlike many of Lenovo's past experiments with flexible or transparent displays, there are no complex mechanisms or exotic technologies here. The screen is mounted on a hidden swivel guide system that provides smooth orientation switching. The concept looks very realistic, which increases its chances of becoming a mass-produced product. According to Lenovo representatives, the development should be of interest to those who appreciate simple but practical ideas. For users who often connect their laptop to a large monitor, vertical orientation can be a useful option. Lenovo has not announced any information about the release of such a device. |
