Lenovo has unveiled the Legion R9000P 2025 Ultimate Edition gaming laptop. It combines powerful hardware from NVIDIA and AMD with a fast screen, an efficient cooling system, and memory upgrade options. The highlight of the new model is a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and a response time of just 0.08 ms. The panel has a wide color gamut (100% P3, ΔE < 1, Dolby Vision) and brightness up to 1100 cd/m², and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The hardware platform is based on an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D (125 W) processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB, 175 W) graphics cards. The DDR5-5600 RAM capacity is 32 GB, and two more can be added to the 1 TB (PCIe 5.0) storage drive by installing them in the free M.2 slots. The second-generation Qiankun Ultra cooling system includes Falcon 2.0 fans and an evaporative chamber. It dissipates heat from all key components: CPU, GPU, memory modules, and SSD. The laptop's chassis features USB-A, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and Ethernet ports, as well as a headphone jack. In addition, the new model is equipped with a TrueStrike 2.0 keyboard with RGB backlighting and a four-speaker audio system. The Lenovo Legion R9000P 2025 Ultimate Edition is priced at $3,080 and $3,150 in China for the black and white models, respectively. The company also offers a more affordable version with a Ryzen 9 9955HX chip and RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, priced from $2,240. |
