Lenovo has unveiled a new version of the IdeaPad Slim 5x laptop featuring a Snapdragon chip

The IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 has been added to Lenovo's lineup of branded laptops. Key features of the new model include a lightweight design, an energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and several display configurations to choose from.

Depending on the model, the laptop is equipped with one of the following displays:

IPS, 13 inches, Full HD+, 60 Hz, touchscreen
IPS, 13 inches, qHD+, 120 Hz
IPS, 15.3 inches, Full HD+, 120 Hz, touchscreen
OLED, 15.3 inches, qHD+, 165 Hz

The hardware platform of this new model is based on the Snapdragon X2P-42-100 SoC, featuring a six-core CPU and an NPU module capable of up to 80 TOPS in AI scenarios. The chip works in conjunction with LPDDR5X RAM and an M.2 (PCIe 4.0 x4) SSD.

The laptop's port selection includes two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as a Wi-Fi 7 module. The 13-inch model features a 54.7 Wh battery, while the larger model is available with either a 54.7 Wh or 70 Wh battery.

The launch date and prices for the various configurations of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x Gen 11 will be announced at a later date.
