Lenovo has expanded its lineup of branded laptops with the introduction of the 11th-generation IdeaPad 5i. The device, featuring a 360-degree hinge and a touchscreen, is available in configurations powered by Intel Panther Lake and AMD Gorgon Point processors. The Intel version of the laptop is built around the 8-core Core Ultra 7 355 chip. The maximum memory capacity is 16 GB + 1 TB. Options include models with a 15-inch IPS display (1200p) and an OLED panel (15", 2.5K, 165 Hz, up to 1100 cd/m² in HDR mode). An external display can be connected via HDMI 1.4b. An alternative version is available in configurations with the Ryzen AI 5 430, AI 5 435, and AI 7 445 (with integrated Radeon 840M). The screen is a 14-inch IPS or OLED (400 cd/m²) display with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The maximum memory capacity is the same as that of the Intel-based version. Prices for the new models in China start at $849. |
