The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 Android tablet was shown at the Lenovo booth at MWC 2026. Unlike the first version, the new model has a large 3.5K screen, a slim body (6.2 mm), and new AI capabilities. The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 is equipped with a 13-inch display with a resolution of 3.5K, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Additionally, it supports Dolby Vision and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The tablet's performance is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory in the maximum configuration. Smart features include Smart Reader and Lenovo AI Notes for working with text, as well as real-time transcription and Lenovo Smart AI Input for creating and translating text based on natural language prompts. For audio playback, there are four JBL-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos support. There is a 13 MP main camera with autofocus, an 8 MP front camera, a 10,200 mAh (45 W) battery, and Android 16 OS with a guaranteed update to Android 18.
