Lenovo has launched a new laptop called Chromebook Plus 14. Its features include a display with accurate color reproduction, modern hardware with support for AI features, and good battery life combined with a small size. Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is equipped with a 14-inch OLED screen (regular or touch, depending on the modification) with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels (16:10), coverage of 100% of the P3 color space and a maximum backlight brightness of 400 cd/m². For the performance of the laptop is responsible MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor combined with 12/16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS-storage for 128 or 256 GB. The novelty supports local AI functions (text summarization, translating handwritten notes into “digital”, removing the background on photos and much more). Buyers of the new laptops get a 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, which includes 2 TB of Google One storage and access to the Gemini chatbot. Inside, there's a 60Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging that replenishes 80 percent of power in one hour. The manufacturer estimates the laptop's battery life at 17 hours. The weight of the device is 1.26 kg or 1.17 kg for touch and regular variants respectively, the thickness of the case is 15.8 mm. Among other features, the manufacturer highlights four speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 5-megapixel camera with shutter, two microphones, an optional fingerprint scanner, as well as support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The set of wired interfaces includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and one USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1, as well as a headphone jack. The price of the novelty in Germany is ˆ649. |
