Lenovo has unveiled the Legion Y7000 Core Edition (2025) gaming laptop in China. In addition to powerful hardware, it features a high refresh rate display suitable for esports gaming, as well as a decent set of interface connectors.

The laptop is built on a 16-core Intel Core i7-14650HX processor (up to 5.2 GHz) and is equipped with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card (8 GB, TDP up to 115 W). It has 16 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 storage drive. An additional M.2 slot on the motherboard is provided for expanding the disk space.

The Legion Y7000 Core Edition (2025) is equipped with a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz, 100% sRGB color space coverage, and a peak brightness of 500 nits in HDR mode. In addition, the matrix supports variable refresh rate (VRR) for a smoother gaming experience.

The new model's set of interfaces includes a USB-C port (10 Gbps, DisplayPort Alt, up to 100 W power), four USB-A (5 Gbps), HDMI 2.1 (FRL), Ethernet, a headphone jack, and a classic power connector. The laptop's battery life is provided by an 80 Wh battery. The release date and price of the Lenovo Legion Y7000 Core Edition will be announced later.
