Chinese startup Krayzor has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the release of an unusual laptop of the same name. The device is equipped with a replaceable video card and two displays, as well as a keyboard that is unusual for mobile devices. The new product is positioned as a device for gamers and content creators. For multitasking, an additional touchscreen (12.3“, 1920x720) is located below the main display (16”, 2560x1600, 240 Hz, 1 ms), which is recognized by the operating system as a second monitor. The 62-key mechanical keyboard is equipped with quick-release switches and RGB backlighting. It is complemented by a touchpad and three rotary controls that can be used to adjust screen brightness, turn the second display on/off, and adjust the volume. The hardware configuration includes an Intel Core i9-12900H processor, 16/32 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB) graphics card, which can be replaced with another model with an MXM interface. The new model's chassis features HDMI, USB-A, and USB-C ports, Ethernet, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a microSD memory card slot. Krayzor plans to start shipping its laptops in December. The MSRP in China will start at $1,290, depending on the memory configuration. |
