Along with the flagship iQOO 15 smartphone, the iQOO Pad 5e tablet was unveiled in China. It features a large screen with a high refresh rate, a powerful processor, an efficient cooling system, and a high-capacity battery with fast charging support. The gadget is equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2.8K, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and support for a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. Performance is provided by the previous generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 sub-flagship chip. Inside the case, there is a cooling system with a total area of 32,200 mm², which prevents performance degradation under load. The device is available in versions with 8, 12, or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of storage (UFS 4.1). Battery life is provided by a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The device runs on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, adapted for tablets. Other features include four speakers, an 8 MP rear camera, and a 5 MP front camera. The iQOO Pad 5e is already available for order in China, starting at 1,999 yuan (~$280) for the base 8 + 128 GB version. The top-of-the-line 16 + 512 GB version costs 2,999 yuan (~$420). |
