Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published new details about the next model of the iPad Pro tablet based on the Apple M5 processor. The informant said that the gadget is already in development, and also named the approximate date of its announcement. Kuo believes that the iPad Pro on the M5 will enter mass production in the fall of 2025. Its assembly, according to the source, will be carried out by BYD Electronic, which will also subsequently engage in the release of smart speakers series HomePod. The insider's statement is generally in line with Apple's usual schedule of new product releases. Historically, the company has updated its iPad Pro lineup roughly every 18 months. The current models were released in May 2024, so the announced debut of the M5-powered tablets in the fall of 2025 is quite expected. Along with the tablets, Apple is expected to show new iPhone models, Apple Watch and AirPods. |
