Infinix has revealed a low-cost HOT 50 5G with 120Hz screen and Dimensity 6300

Infinix has released a budget smartphone HOT 50 5G. The novelty costs an initial $119, but for this money offers a fast screen, triple high-resolution camera and a capacious battery.

The smartphone's 6.7-inch IPS screen has a resolution of 1600x720 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Dimensity 6300 platform is responsible for the performance of the Infinix HOT 50 5G, complemented by 4/8GB of RAM (plus 8GB of virtual memory) and 128GB of permanent storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

The rear camera includes a primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, a depth sensor and a secondary AI sensor. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP and is complemented by an LED flash.

Other specifications include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key, IP54 water and dust resistance, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 802.11.ac. The OS is Android 14 with proprietary XOS 14.5 shell.

The Infinix HOT 50 5G is available in blue, black, green and pink colors priced at $119 for 4/128GB and $130 for 8/128GB. It is scheduled to start selling on September 9.
