HUAWEI officially unveiled in China its new flagship - Pura 80 Ultra. The main emphasis in the device is on photo and video shooting: the model received a unique dual-lens camera, which sets it apart from other premium smartphones. The smartphone's main camera module includes a 50-megapixel “inch” sensor of its own design with variable aperture (f/1.6-f/4.0) and optical stabilization. The telephoto camera also gets a 50MP sensor and uses sensor shift to compensate for shake. It can switch between 3.7x and 9.4x optical zoom (equivalent focal lengths are 83mm and 212mm respectively) and supports digital zoom up to 100x. The smartphone also features a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and a multi-spectral sensor for accurate color reproduction. It supports 4K video recording and ultra slow motion 1080p shooting at 960 fps. The smartphone has a 6.8-inch OLED display (LTPO) with a resolution of 2848x1276 pixels and adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. It is also claimed to support 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain. The smartphone runs HarmonyOS 5.1 and communicates with a PC via a high-speed USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C connector. The dimensions of the device are 163 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm and weighs around 233.5g. As in other current HUAWEI models, the manufacturer does not specify the exact model of the processor. But the memory configuration is known: 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. For autonomy is responsible for the battery capacity of 5700 mAh with support for fast charging: 100 W by cable and 80 W by wireless technology. The body of the smartphone is protected against water and dust according to IP69 standard. The price of the version with 512 GB of memory in China is about $1390 at the exchange rate on the day of publication of the news, and the configuration with 1 TB - about $1530.
