New details about the upcoming HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro+ smartphone have been shared by a well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station. In the latest leak, the informant revealed some of the device's key specifications, including an updated screen and improved performance. The HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro+ will feature a curved 6.88-inch Tandem OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The dual-layer structure of the Tandem OLED matrix provides higher brightness, improved efficiency, and a longer service life compared to traditional OLED technology. The insider mentions a front camera with a 3D ToF sensor, a rear camera with a 1/1.28-inch 50MP LOFIC sensor with variable aperture, and a periscope camera with a 48MP sensor and superzoom support. The “heart” of the Mate 80 Pro+ will be the Kirin 9030 chip, which is expected to provide improved energy efficiency compared to the Kirin 9020. The smartphone will also be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery with support for 100 W wired charging and 80 W wireless charging. According to an insider, this will be the first Chinese smartphone with eSIM. The HUAWEI Mate 80 series is expected to premiere in November, but the exact date is still unknown. |
