An insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has shared new details about the upcoming HUAWEI Mate 80 smartphone lineup. According to the source, the devices will be equipped with the latest Kirin chip as well as a proprietary photo sensor. The new smartphone is expected to get a 50MP 1/1.28-inch sensor with variable aperture and RYYB technology. It will also support the proprietary SuperPixGain HDR2.0 technology, which links three frames with the same exposure to achieve ultra-high dynamic range and minimize moving object artifacts. The main HUAWEI Mate 80 will be the flagship Kirin 9030 mobile platform. The novelty is also attributed to a flat screen, 3D facial recognition, fingerprint scanner on the side edge and HarmonyOS 6 as the OS. It is known that the HUAWEI Mate 80 lineup will include four models: the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS Extraordinary Master. The premiere date of the devices is still unknown. |
