HP introduced a laptop Star Book Pro 16, which features a combination of a thin body with a productive iron. In addition, the novelty received a decent set of interfaces and a webcam with facial recognition. HP Star Book Pro 16 is equipped with a 16-inch IPS display. The panel resolution is 2.5K, refresh rate is 120Hz, and backlight brightness is up to 400 nits. The manufacturer also claims to cover 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The novelty also received a 5 MP webcam with IR illumination for unlocking the device via Windows Hello using face scanning. The hardware platform of the novelty, depending on the configuration, includes Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 7 155H processor, 16/32 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage (PCIe 4.0) and optional discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 (80W). Wired interfaces include HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A and Type-C, Thunderbolt 4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop is 17.7 mm thick and weighs 1.89 kg.
