Honor unveiled its new Pad X9 Max tablet, featuring a large screen that's easy to view and work with. The new device also boasts long battery life and powerful built-in speakers.

The tablet features a 13-inch IPS display with a 2500x1560 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 700 nits of brightness. To reduce eye strain, a paper simulation mode and DC Dimming are included. The display is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light levels and flicker-free operation.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor and 6GB + 256GB of memory in the maximum configuration. Storage space can be expanded with a microSD card up to 2TB.

The new device's battery life is provided by a 10,100 mAh battery with 45-watt fast charging technology. Honor claims the device will last up to 16 hours of video playback when not connected to a power outlet.

The tablet runs MagicOS 10, based on Android 16. The firmware supports a range of AI features and can share files between Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, and macOS. The rear and front cameras have a 5-megapixel resolution.

The tablet's body includes four built-in speakers with IMAX Enhanced support. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C. Compatibility with the Honor Magic Pencil 4s stylus and Smart Bluetooth Keyboard (sold separately) is stated. The aluminum body measures 297.62 x 192.72 x 6.72 mm and weighs approximately 618 grams.

The Honor Pad X9 Max will soon go on sale in the UK for £349 (approximately $470) for the 4GB + 128GB version. The 6GB + 256GB version will cost £449 (approximately $600).
