HMD has released a new budget smartphone called the Vibe 5G. The gadget is designed for basic everyday tasks, but supports 5G mobile networks and runs on the latest version of Android. The new device's 6.67-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The hardware platform is based on a Unisoc T760 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The rear camera includes a 50 MP main module and a 2 MP depth sensor, while the front camera has a resolution of 8 MP. The HMD Vibe 5G runs on Android 15, and the brand promises two years of quarterly security patches. The list of features is rounded out by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support, a fingerprint scanner in the power button, stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones.
