A year ago, Dell announced the discontinuation of several series of its branded laptops. However, at CES 2026, the company “changed its mind” and reintroduced the XPS family as its new consumer flagship models.

The new versions of the Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 are equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Intel Arc graphics and NPU modules. There are versions with OLED displays (2.8K for the XPS 14, 3.2K for the XPS 16) or IPS matrices to choose from. All of them support up to 64 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 4 TB of storage, and their batteries have a capacity of up to 70 Wh.

The company claims that the new models were designed from scratch. They feature practical aluminum bodies with reinforced side edges, and their displays are covered with Gorilla Glass.

In addition, the traditional row of function keys has returned to the series, and the cooling system and repairability have been improved compared to previous generations. The updated Dell XPS 14 weighs 1.36 kg, while the XPS 16 weighs 1.65 kg.

The Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16 are now available for order in the US, priced at $2049 and $2199, respectively.
