To mark the 30th anniversary of the PowerShot series, Canon has unveiled a limited edition version of the G7 X Mark III. New accessories for this and other branded digital cameras were also announced. The anniversary edition of the Canon G7 X Mark III differs from the original model in its packaging and new “graphite” color scheme. The body of the device is decorated with a 30th anniversary badge and a new pattern of grooves on the lens ring. There are no changes in terms of hardware: the camera is equipped with a 20 MP inch sensor capable of recording 4K video and a non-removable lens with 4.2x zoom. In addition, Canon has unveiled a new version of its proprietary removable NB-13L battery, as well as the RF 7-14mm F2.8-3.5L Fisheye STM and RF 14mm F1.4L VCM lenses for full-frame cameras. The limited edition will hit the UK market on April 23, 2026, priced at £859 (approximately $1,169 at the exchange rate on the day of publication). |
