ASUS launches Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16 powered by Snapdragon X

ASUS has unveiled the new Zenbook A14 and Vivobook 16, featuring powerful Snapdragon X series processors with Neurochips and Windows 11 Home.

The Zenbook A14 is available in configurations with a Snapdragon X or Snapdragon X Elite chip, complemented by 16GB of RAM (LPDDR5x), 512GB of flash storage (PCIe 4.0) and a 45 TOPS neural processor. The laptop is powered by a 70Wh battery with fast charging support. Additionally, the A14 has a larger touchpad and military-grade MIL-STD 810H certification. The set of ports includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 and audio output. The body of the novelty consists of an alloy of aluminum and ceramic, which, as ASUS claims, is 30% lighter and three times stronger than conventional aluminum alloys. There are two colors for the user to choose from: gray and beige.

The Vivobook 16 gets a Snapdragon X, an IPS screen with FHD resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio, and a battery with up to 12 hours of battery life. For connectivity, there are a pair of USB 4 Type-C ports, two more USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio output.

Other specs include an ErgoSense keyboard, ASUS 3DNR for sharper webcam images, and MIL-STD 810H certification. The laptop's body is 1.79 cm thick at a weight of 1.88 kg.
