ASUS TUF Gaming A18 features an 18-inch screen and the latest AMD, Intel and NVIDIA chips

One of the interesting ASUS novelties at CES 2025 was the TUF Gaming A18 gaming laptop. It is equipped with the latest AMD, Intel and NVIDIA chips, but the main feature of the laptop is a large 18-inch screen with the ability to open 180 degrees.

ASUS TUF Gaming A18 is available in different modifications with eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor or 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX. For graphics is responsible for the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. RAM in the novelty up to 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600, and the drive M.2 SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe has a capacity of up to 2 TB. There's a standalone upgrade option for both RAM and ROM.

The laptop has a large 18-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, which corresponds to an aspect ratio of 16:10, refresh rate up to 240 Hz, brightness up to 500 cd/m², 100% coverage of DCI-P3 color space and support for NVIDIA G-Sync.

A 90Wh battery is responsible for battery life. Among the ports there are HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 4 Type-C with DisplayPort support and network RJ45. There's an IR camera with Windows Hello support. Wireless internet connectivity is realized via Wi-Fi 6E. The laptop weighs 2.6 kg, and its dimensions are 399 x 283 x 18.9-26.7 mm.
