ASUS announced a new generation of STRIX gaming notebooks |

Two weeks before the start of the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2025, ASUS announced the presentation of new gaming devices of the ROG family. Along with this, one of the new STRIX line of laptops was shown, which should please fans of RGB lighting. In the announcement ASUS limited itself to a partial showing of the new notebook from different angles: it will have a big ROG STRIX inscription on the bottom lid and RGB lighting all around. No other details were shared by the company. ASUS is rumored to unveil at least two models: the ROG STRIX 18 Scar and the ROG STRIX G16. The former is attributed to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card in the top configuration, while the ROG STRIX G16 may get the same processor and a maximum GeForce RTX 5080. No other details are available yet. The presentation of the new ASUS devices is scheduled for January 6. |
