AMD version of ASUS ROG Zephyrus 16 Air with 240-Hertz screen has been announced

ASUS has announced the launch date and price of the ROG Zephyrus 16 Air Ryzen AI Edition laptop. The novelty, aimed at gamers, is equipped with a powerful processor and two GPU options to choose from, as well as a display with a “cyber sports” refresh rate.

“Face” of the portable PC will be a 16-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, refresh rate of 240 Hz, peak brightness of 500 nits, response time of 0.2 ms and a contrast level of 1 000 000:1. The list of its characteristics is completed by coverage of 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and support for OLED Care technology to protect the user's vision.

For the performance of the laptop will be responsible 12-core processor AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with “embedded” on the architecture RDNA 3 and neuromodule XDNA 2 to perform AI-tasks. Depending on the version, the laptop will be equipped with NVIDIA RTX 4060 or 4070 graphics card (TGP 105W). The configuration will be completed with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and two M.2 2280 SSD slots (one with PCIe 4.0 interface).

Among other features, the manufacturer highlights the ROG Glacier Cooling 3.0 cooling system, a 90Wh battery with 100W fast charging, a camera with Windows Hello support, a six-speaker speaker system, an RGB-backlit keyboard and the presence of a Wi-Fi 7 module.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus 16 Air Ryzen AI Edition will go on sale in the US market on July 28 at the following prices:
