ASUS has unveiled a “powerful” version of the ASUS ProArt P16 laptop for professionals working with multimedia content and graphics. The model's trump cards are a top-of-the-line NVIDIA graphics card, a complete set of “creative” software, and a Pantone-certified OLED screen. The ASUS ProArt P16 is equipped with a 16-inch Lumina Pro touchscreen OLED display with a resolution of 3840x2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its matrix has 100% coverage of the P3 color space (ΔE ≤ 1), confirmed by Pantone certification. The laptop's screen has a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m². The new model also supports VRR technology to prevent frame tearing and a blue light suppression feature to reduce eye strain. The laptop's performance is provided by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (24 GB) graphics card. It has 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and two solid-state drives (PCIe 4.0) with a total capacity of 4 TB. The new model's set of interfaces includes USB 4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a headphone port, and a memory card slot, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless modules. The laptop is equipped with a 90 Wh battery, and the included power adapter has a capacity of 200 W. The list of features is rounded out by Harman Kardon speakers and proprietary software for running local neural networks (StoryCube and MuseTree).
