ASRock Announces B550 Rock WiFi Motherboard with Old AM4 Socket and New Features |

ASRock announced the release of the B550 Rock WiFi motherboard for the previous-generation AM4 socket. This new product offers owners of older Ryzen processors the ability to upgrade their gaming PC without the significant expense of a platform upgrade. The new product supports all Ryzen 3000, Ryzen 4000G, Ryzen 5000, and Ryzen 5000G series chips, as well as some Ryzen 3000G models. It features a 10-phase (8+2) power design with massive aluminum heatsinks on the chipset and VRM area. The motherboard features four DIMM slots (up to 128GB of DDR4-4733 memory), three M.2 SSD slots (one PCIe Gen4 x4, one PCIe Gen3 x4, and one PCIe Gen3 x2), and three SATA (6Gbps) ports. The set of network interfaces includes a Realtek controller (2.5 Gbps), Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 modules, and wired ones include USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C on the front panel, USB Type-C and Type-A on the rear panel, as well as one HDMI 2.1 for ?embedded? use.
