The Alienware Aurora 16X laptop gets a Core Ultra 9 chip and an RTX 5070 graphics card

The Alienware brand has released two new gaming laptops - the Aurora 16X and the more affordable Aurora 16. Both are equipped with performance hardware from Intel and NVIDIA, as well as displays with higher refresh rates to ensure a smooth picture in fast-paced games.

Alienware Aurora 16X is presented in several configurations with Intel Arrow Lake series processors up to Core Ultra 9 275HX. For the graphics capabilities of the novelty is responsible graphics card GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070, the amount of RAM is up to 64 GB. 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels supports a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

The Aurora model is equipped with a 120 Hz display with the same resolution and Intel processor of the Raptor Lake Refresh family. The graphics card is a GeForce RTX 3050 (Brazil and India only), RTX 4050 or RTX 5070.

Both laptops are equipped with Wi-Fi 7 modules, a pair of USB Type-A and two Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2) connectors, as well as HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet ports. The Alienware Aurora 16 sells in the US with prices starting at $1149, with the Aurora 16X model priced from $1949.
