At Computex 2025, Acer announced updates to several notebook series including the Swift Edge, Swift Go and Swift X. The most interesting new product is the ultra-compact Swift Edge 14 AI, built as part of Microsoft's Copilot+ program with full support for Windows 11's built-in artificial intelligence features such as Recall and Click to Do.

The Swift Edge 14 AI gets a touchscreen 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels, which is coated with Corning's unique Gorilla Glass Matte Pro anti-reflective glass. This is the first coating of its kind for laptops, which reduces the reflection of the screen by 95%. The body of the device is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy, which allowed to reduce the weight to 0.99 kg with a thickness of 9.5 to 16.5 mm. The laptop is equipped with two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In its maximum configuration, the Swift Edge 14 AI features a processor ranging from Intel Core Ultra 5 226V to Core Ultra 9 288V with integrated Intel Arc graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. Claimed battery life is up to 21 hours thanks to a 65Wh battery. Additional features include a Soft-Touch coated keyboard that resists dirt, as well as support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

In addition to the Swift Edge 14 AI, Acer has updated the Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI. They also get Intel Core Ultra 7 processors, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of storage. The Swift Go 14 AI offers a 1920×1200 resolution OLED display, while the Swift Go 16 AI offers a 2048×1280 resolution, both with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The models get 1080p webcams with Windows Hello support.

The Swift X series has also been updated. The Swift X 14 AI and Swift X 14 now come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 discrete graphics and are designed for demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering. The Swift X 14 AI is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 9 chips, while the Swift X 14 is powered by Intel Core Ultra 9. Both models can be equipped with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of storage. They also have 14.5-inch OLED displays with 3K resolution and stylus support.
