Acer has introduced Chromebook Plus 516 - a laptop for home and school, running Chrome OS and “sharpened” for constant connection to the Internet. In addition to a large screen, the novelty is noteworthy hardware platform based on Intel Core i3 chip and a year of free subscription Google One AI Premium in the package. 16-inch display Acer Chromebook Plus 516 with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels supports a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The hardware platform of the Chromebook includes an Intel Core i3 1315U processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The manufacturer claims that on a single battery charge novelty can work up to 12.5 hours. The set of interfaces includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A, one HDMI and a 3.5mm audio jack. What makes the model stand out is the one-year Google One AI Premium subscription included in its price (2GB of cloud storage and access to Gemini Advanced neural network features). The Acer Chromebook Plus 516 goes on sale in the U.S. market for $480. |
