Palm Pixi Overview

The Palm Pixi mobile phone was released in September 2009 and was one of the early smartphones to run on the Palm webOS operating system. It is powered by a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor and Qualcomm MSM7627 chipset, along with an Adreno 200 GPU for graphics processing. The device comes with 8 GB of internal memory, but unfortunately does not have any external memory card slot for expansion.

The Pixi features a compact 2.63 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 35.7% and a display area of 21.8 cm2, with support for 256K colors. The phone supports 2G GSM networks and HSPA for faster data speeds. It also includes Bluetooth 2.1, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB 2.0 for charging and data transfer, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The main camera on the Palm Pixi is a 2 MP single lens with LED flash, although it does not support video recording. The device is available in black color and has dimensions of 111 x 55 x 10.9 mm, weighing 99.5 g. The phone is powered by a removable 1150 mAh Li-Ion battery, providing up to 350 hours of standby time and 5 hours of talk time.
